New Administrative Boundaries Between Communes at Kampong Thom’s Santuk District

Kampong Thom: A new administrative boundary is set between Boeung Lvea, Kampong Thmor and Prasat commune at Santuk district. Six villages were removed from Boeung Lvea commune namely Trapeang Tim, Koh Bong, Trapeang Prey, Boeung Lvea, Tbeng and Sangkrong. Four of them now belong to Kampong Thmor commune. These are Trapeang Tim, Koh Bong, Trapeang Prey, and Boeung Lvea; while the two were transferred to Prasat commune – the villages of Tbeng and Sangkrong.

The adjustment of the administrative boundary with the three communes of Santuk district in Kampong Thom province shall come into force for the election of Commune or Sangkat Council in the fifth mandate in accordance with the Article 18 of the Law on Commune or Sangkat Administration. Relevant ministries and institutions in Kampong Thom Provincial administration are responsible for the implementation of the sub-decree according to their respective duties.
